My next show ‘Look Closer’ showcases my miniature work.
I have worked in miniature one way or another for over 10 years and this exhibition will be a taste of what I do.
Each piece is not only miniaturised but often has my wildflower and other photographic art featured.
Some works are in 1:12th scale while others are my own scale.
It will be at Exhibit B in Bendigo, inside in the Bendigo Bank arcade.
Thanks must go to City of Greater Bendigo, Creative Communities for this opportunity, for both the exhibition space and small Sprout grant. Also thanks to the Bendigo Bank. #bendigobank #cityofgreaterbendigogrants #creativecommunitybendigo
Concerned with the potential waste of old style slide cases, I created mini art from them around 10 years ago. As usual Australian wildlife and flora was the subject matter (all my own images).
I made quite a few and they were purchased through the Art O Mat scheme at the Mildura Arts Centre.
One hundred were also sent to the U.S.A.
This is a sample of what I created. They make lovely mini displays.
More pics today.
